Paraguay-born and Minnesota-raised, Shannon Faulise is an up-and-coming reporter and documentary photographer.

Shannon was most recently KQED’s Arts & Culture desk intern.

Previous written bylines include The Oaklandside and Redwood City Pulse. Shannon’s photos have appeared on social media accounts for San Francisco’s Diamond Wave organization, and have also previously been published in The Oaklandside and the California Press Foundation Newsletter.

Shannon received her Master’s degree at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2024.
