Paraguay-born and Minnesota-raised, Shannon Faulise is a reporter and documentary photographer with a background in public relations.

Shannon was most recently KQED’s Arts & Culture desk intern before moving back to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Previous written bylines include KQED, The Oaklandside and the Redwood City Pulse, and Shannon’s photos have previously been published in The Oaklandside and the California Press Foundation Newsletter.

Shannon received her Master’s degree at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2024.
